Curious to how a Vlad Tank Jungle might be in 5.5. Theory crafting and was curious how Vlad's passive would work with the new HP Jungle item. The item grants +25% Bonus Health. Is his passive HP gained from AP considered Bonus Health? Where is the Bonus Health calculated from?
You are correct in that the HP he gets from his passive counts as bonus HP so therefore would work with cinderhulk, but that being said he would still be a horrendous jungler.
Your first clear is pitiful at best and you have zero ganking pressure for the entirety of the game, the enemy jungler would just invade you nonestop cause most would be able to kill you 1v1 or would just keep ganking and win the game for their team cause yours would have no jungler to offset the ganks of your counterpart.
The ONLY time this would EVER work is if the enemy jungler never ganked as well and never invaded on you and your team managed to not feed in lanes, and how often do you get all 3 of those in one game? lol
the hp from vlads passive is considered bonus hp. Bonus hp is your total hp - base hp. However, vlad will definitly still suck as jungler as you don't start with the new jungleitem on level one, and even anivia has a better first clear than vlad....
He would love the new jungle item late game, agree with you there.
That said, the first two clears will be a nightmare for him. You'd have to run 20% cdr runes (for Q sustain and to let you use your E), and a lot of armor just to survive. Also add in that the enemy jungler WILL BE HUNTING YOU because there is literally no reason not to since you will be hovering around 1/3 hp your entire clear.
Try it out! I want to see it if you can make it work. There might be some goofy strategy with kiting the camps around that make it viable. Especially since the damage in the jungle just got nerfed. Link a vid once you find a solid clear?
you would need a god leash, but even then his ganks wouldnt be very good. he has almost no cc besides his pool and using your pool to engage is just bad vladimir mechanics, at least in my opinion. Youre only gap closer would be ghost or flash, so you would likely have to burn that and your pool so it doesnt look very good
