I did it, but I played solely an aggressive carry-support until I felt I could trust my teammates to actually do the damage themselves.

Do not neglect your sightstone though, and do try to peel for your teammates.

Of course you can.. just find 2-3 champs you like playing and try to use them to synergize with your team. Playing support is actually the easiest way to climb imo

i did it... i played Thresh thresh, Leona leona, and Karma karma

but be warned even if you are god tear at warding and pinging like a boss, you do heavily rely on your team. in Bronze that honestly isn't the way to go, sure there will be other opinions on it but in bronze what you need to do is play easy champs like 'mumuAmumu annieAnnie or my old favROIT Pantheon pantheon! these champs will not GARENte a win but since they are easy champions that are easy to play and easy to be useful it makes it easier to focus on the game and how to play the game better...

example: (this is late S5 early S6) pantheon was an amazing jngler and due to that it was easy to get the hang of, i learned how/when to gank, i learned more on how to play in the jng and i spent alot more time learning the mechanics of the game...

Absolutely not because you can't rely on your team in lower elo period. They constantly make bad plays, do not join fights, basically do everything they can possibly do wrong. Supporting a bad team mate doesn't do anything at all and won't help you climb if you are a far superior player as they won't follow up and won't utilize your supporting ability.

Well it's definitely possible, but you're more reliant on your teammates compared to other roles. I recommend partying with people you play well with, especially with an adc.

It's hard....really hard....Because playing support/carry with support relies on the fact that your team knows what they are doing...which in Bronze nobody does. If you are still bronze-silver it means you don't even have the elementary mechanics. You will get out of ello hell when you deserve it whatever role/champion you play.

My first gameplay of thresh was kewl 32 assists and an S

Yes, but duo with ADC. That will eliminate 2/5 possible feeders.

yes you can its just harder... you are more team dependent as a support player

Duke Anax9/23/2016, 11:33:48 AM1 votes

I did it playing mainly Soraka and Taric.

Taric is almost a free win when they insist on going all AD ans Soraka is really good at keeping your team alive and taking out the enemy (I play Soraga Reaper style)

The most important part about being Support is to realize that you support the entire Team, not just the ADC. If bot is stable and you seem to not be doing much, gank mid, or roam further top. Depending on the matchup you may even go and kill the jungler, steal a buff.

its possible, unlikely though

You are probably best off playing blitzcrank and snowballing the lane against people that can't avoid the grabs.

Depends. If you're good and consistently win lane, then probably not because your teammates will be worse. If you're an average player/skill, then support can work. To get an idea, check out OP.gg for your mmr and that'll tell you your approximate skill level (the more you play, the more accurate it becomes)

ItsOrval9/23/2016, 8:40:02 AM1 votes

no play a carry role

Short answer is yes.

Long answer, if you are good at getting people on your team (including yourself) fed, you will win matches and climb. You may feel like you don't have control, and that is partially true, but like building a house you create the foundation for sucess for your team. If you can do that, you will carry them to being able to carry you.
