Riot can give you a tiny amount of RP once, but what about essence?

So im in the situation, that i need 12 blue essence to get my mastery 6 token for . I have already opened 3 chests in a row, with no luck, except i now have more Orange Essence added to my collection. I need such a tiny amount, how can i get it without having to spend money? And then it struck me!

I know people have asked for small amounts of RP from Riot in the past, if theyre missing a little for a skin or so. But can i do the same with Essence? Would they do it or does it only apply for when you need 5-10 RP or so?

Of course this would count as my one time "Rito pls gib RP" plea, which i dont mind, really.
