Does ARAM have MMR?

I have been bronze forever since I don't really play ranked, I play ARAM all the time instead and even if I win 30 in a row, I only get paired up with up to silver 5. So does that mean there is a MMR cap or something in ARAM?

For the hell of it I gave rank another go just see if I could climb the ladder and that would affect aram, but my first game back in a very long time, I was reminded why I don't play ranked. Ranked isn't about skill, its about which team got stuck with the afk -_-

Most plat plus players do not leave solo q. Aram games can be pre decided as soon as the map starts up. There is very little room for making plays and random comps are usually the deciding factor.

Why would a skilled player want to deal with that crap?

it supposedly has it's own mmr, not related to ranked play....

do you play aram a lot, if your test was 30 games in a row i think maybe you do.... which means you would need to play even more games to move your mmr, and or drastically change the way you play on aram.... less charge in to exchange a kill, more back line defensive?

Yes it has MMR, it's just that ranked MMR has almost nothing to do with a player's ARAM MMR. Bronzes could still have higher ARAM MMR than diamonds.

Yes it does. I've actually gotten to a point where I play with the same ~40 people every time I play ARAM now.

It's most obvious if I play a bunch in a row on the same day because I'll actually play with the same 5-9 people every game like 10 times in a row lol.
