Why is ahri being banned so much now?

It's not like she got a buff or something. Why do people suddenly think shes so op that she needs to be banned all the time.

Because the boards went crazy about her being OP so now people are banning her.

bad players need to be able to be punished for making mistakes.

I can give you many reasons, she is gank immune post 6 (4 dashes including flash, you have to truly be bad to die post 6 in lane) , safe wave clear and MS buff and in lane sustain through passive to wait out post 6, CC, burst,

It's not Ahri that's broken, it's

. So while the champ may not be broken itself, the items send the champ beyond stupid.
It's pretty fuckin dumb that you can miss both skill shots, and still get a kill by pressing R 3 times and W just because of gunblade.
Just like 
. Champs are tolerable until gunblade is built, then you can't do anything.
So in the meantime, Riot refused to address the serious issue that is gunblade and lich bane, Champs that use them must be banned.

Champions tend to get noticeably stronger and more popular when their counters get nerfed. Nothing new or unusual here.
