So i get enough trolls to report me i get banned? Automated system no tribunal???

So how can you ban people when you don't even have a system. Your "system" is open for any Toxic player, troll player, pissed off player, or anything in the terms of being BM, will report people for any and no reason. And the main thing behind all this what i have to say is that none of it is reviewed like it used to. Now you just ban people left and right for being "negative" from chat or ranked play. Right now i feel like a man in a corner minding his own business, while another proceeds to come up to me and shoot me... The cops come and i go to jail. Why are the victims being punished???

If you do nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Before the automated system punishes, it looks for negative chat. IF you do get punished wrongfully, send a support ticket, and they will manually review it.

So a system that automatically bans you for numerous reports looks for negative chat?? So please tell me games that i dont talk and say nothing negative i have pop up warnings for negative behavior from reports from trolls randomly reporting people.

The warnings just mean that you were reported. That's it. The warnings mean nothing else. It doesn't mean that you're getting punished. It's just saying that you've been reported a lot. If you're actually doing things to be reported, you should be worried. If you're not, then don't worry about it.

Also he answered you already, so there's no reason for this. The flashy warning that pops up just means you've been reported a bunch. It doesn't mean the reports will result in punishment.

Again, its not about the ban being lifted, its about this system being fixed... Forums can be used for awareness too my good sir, its not just all about support tickets. When you have an issue, you use the tools given to you to fix the problem.

The warning and the ban are different. The warning is just based on reports...nothing else. The ban is based on reports, where they come from, and chat logs (and probably a lot more).

How can it be alot more? What does this automated system have to go by exactly please tell me that. The only thing that it can do is record the reports that are given to you. And what "A lot more" could there possibly be?

Chat logs, reports, who the reports came from (your team, opposing team, does that person get reported a lot), what stage of the game the negative chat (if any) happens, the chat logs of teammates and enemies, whether it's a win or a loss, and probably a lot more that I'm not thinking of.

If you're trying to get the system's attention (talk about "plain as day" wording...) you're doing it wrong.

If you're trying to draw attention to a broken system you're a little late. Everyone knows this already, including Riot. The automated system is in development right now. it's in beta, meaning they are improving it as they go.

On top of this it's currently fulfilling the role of the Tribunal while the Tribunal is being reworked. It's public knowledge that it's coming back, there's just no timetable as of yet. Maybe you should read into a subject a bit before you go after it like this.

Then if its such a broken system they shouldn't use it if they know it. How can you all say it isnt a broken system and then turn around saying everyone is well aware its broken and riot knows it... Just because its well aware doesnt mean it isnt broken. if its well known that it is broken then it should be changed quicker than a year's time. i'm sure players which much rather have a working system then seeing the next fancy skin to come out.

It's not broken because it's not done yet and because there is a VERY EASY way to fix mistakes when it comes to players. Riot uses these incidents of false punishment to better fix this system, so if you're not making a support ticket you're doing both yourself and the rest of the community a disservice.

Seriously, stop complaining and make a support ticket already.

Something to point out, none of the people I play with frequently have ever been banned and we're a pretty rowdy bunch. I've never even been warned by any of the report systems, and I have been playing since early Season 1.

Innocent people are punished at a rate of roughly 0.0001%, according to Lyte. It's possible you're the unlucky one, but extraordinarily unlikely.

Almost without fail, the people that complain about the system being broken are those that feel they don't deserve a ban that the system (and by extension, the community at large) thinks they do. There is no evidence whatsoever to support the claim that the system doesn't work, it's actually exactly to the contrary; there is tons of evidence that it does work.

Basically, when people try to refute bans by complaining that the system is broken rather than laying out their actions and thoughts on the matter it's like a big red flag.

It does happen occasionally that I've seen, but it's usually one of two scenarios:

Extraordinarily negative player pretending to be patient and kind, smited by Riot
Someone that stepped over the line and shows remorse

I have only ever seen one example of a ban being lifted, and in that particular case the person was being heavily toxic to himself and the system didn't know what to do.

I'm not trying to get it lifted man... :/ I just wanna play in a game without a broken system... i wanna play a game without fear that the trolls im playing with have the power to report me and that be a factor in a future meaningless ban. I dont care if it gets lifted, winning a few normal drafts is nothing.

Well sorry i dont have a data base full of the chat logs of each game i play so i can bring it up. you ask me to do a task that i can not do, so i do the next best thing. Bring attention to the forums in a proper manner.

Bringing awareness implies that you have some awareness to offer. Saying the system is broken without any supporting evidence is not bringing awareness, it's a complaint. Here's an example of a thread that might bring awareness:

"Hi everyone,

I was recently temp banned, here is my history of warnings and punishments:

x y z

I feel this ban is in error, and I'd love to discuss this or see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Here's why I feel this way:

x y z

Thanks for your time!"

Obviously that'd be pretty verbose, but the point is that it's laying out why I feel there's a problem rather than just arbitrarily stating that the system is broken.
