Wish I could try playing at higher elo.

Sometimes I just wish there was a way that I could try to play in a Platinum or higher elo just to see how I would do. I'm only Bronze 2 currently but sometimes I think I'm better than that, like many others, and truly believe I belong in gold at least but there's a number of things that hold me back. No not the usual trolls or afks or bad game here and there, that's a given and is to be expected. I'm mainly talking about my internet and work/school schedule. You see I only have about 2 hours at most each night to play league.

I also have iffy internet that sometime decides that today my ping will be 100 above normal. I can't play when someone else is on the internet streaming video. That's how shitty my internet is. I have 2 other siblings who use the internet and I can never tell when they are about to watch netflix or youtube and I cant kick them off because my parents pay for it so obviously I have no right to decide who uses it. These two things make climbing extremely hard. I just want to try just once to play in a high elo game to put my money where my mouth is and see how well I perform, I know this is a pipe dream and will never happen unless I legitimately reach these elos but a man can dream cant he?

I can sympathize quite a bit. I see people lose me the game because they do something that no player in platinum, gold, or probably silver for the most part, would consider in their right mind.

Ever have a support that tries to take the enemy's blue buff while they're all alive, missing, and none of the rest of the team are outside of the base?

Yup. Had players that bad. Like... wtf are they thinking? I mean, I know I'm probably bad, but I'm better than.... whatever that is.

My internet is trash. I have to put my phone on airplane mode or I lag. I can't have anything open. I can't even stream music while I play.

If you're that serious about it: go to bed early, so you can wake up and play games without the worry of others on your connection. Or give your parents some money per month to upgrade your house's internet connection. I have a fairly low-tier connection package, it's still high speed, but I have 2 room mates watching netflix and I dont even notice. The only thing I have to keep an eye out for is if they are using torrents.
