PBE Preview: Dragonslayer Xin Zhao & Dragon Sorceress Zyra
Im just going to come out and say it.
These skins are more underwhelming than the Cancelled Swen Chaos Amumu and Blitzcrank skins.
Xin zhao already has a entended amout of skins, not to mention that this one is just an updraded version of Warring Kingdoms. And the fact that Dragon Sorceress Zyra isnt legendary... what a missed opportunity. Hell, why even make a teaser for a skin that is honestly not that impressive?
I mean come on, if you are going to put effort into teasing us, then make the skin match the hype.
Just to clarify on some stuff before people start to attack me. If you guys know me from EUW, I NEVER complain about skins, NEVER HAVE, until today. Im the guy that prefers the skin model over the stupid particle effects and recalls (as in, I like 750Rp skins as much as the person who goes nuts over any legendary skin Riot has put out). To me, recalls mean nothing, I find them a waste and an expensive excuse to raise the price of skins.
However, with the case of this new Zyra skin, its just a missed opportunity. Honestly this could have been so much better in so many levels. Limiting yourselves to making it a 1350Rp is just saddening.
I believe a skin line should have atleast one legendary skin, and Dragon Sorceress Zyra (somewhat close to the theme) was the opportunistic chance, and you guys didnt go for it.
Riot, if you have a wicked/brilliant/mind boggling theme, push it to the limit.
