Hey guys my friend gifted me a a chest and I got Ernest elf tristana. Is this a rare skin ik its from s1 but was it a 1 time thing skin? He said it's one of the top 50 rarest skins this true?

It's a Legacy skin. So it's not "that rare" as it does appear on sale in the store every once in awhile.

It's fairly rare, not sure if it's top 50 but It's very old and no longer available normally outside legacy, I think only during christmas holidays. What's very rare is if you have it with the limited era border.

Saw a Silver Kayle last night in ARAM. Been play this game since season 1 and only saw Silver Kayle 4 times and Black Alistar 3 times.

It's kinda hilarious to think my Judgement Kayle is actually relatively rare. When I first got it, it was Riot Girl Tristana tier, so much that most people didn't even use it.

I got that and Championship Riven but a lot of people have CS Riven and Judgement Kayle lol.

Alot of people have it but ALOT of people don't. League has grown massively since the first season. It is at least, one of a few skins that is legitimately unavailable now, even if it was handed out to everyone at the time. Thus why I said I find it amusing though.

It is kind of rare. It sometimes comes back during Christmas time. Sometimes in a bundle, sometimes by itself.

Note the weird border on this one. That's what's rare. Without it, its just a legacy skin that isn't popular and thus unusual.

Alot of seasonal skins used to be limited (available once for that year only just during the particular holidy). When Riot decided to make them available again, they put a special border on the original owner's skins and refunded the RP since they were removing the original exclusivity which was important to some players. I've got the border on my Haunting Nocturne :)

Also, definitely Urfwick, UFO Corki and Triumphant Ryze, and I think Medieval Twitch, Silver Kayle and Grey WW are still up there as well. Judgement Kayle is somewhat rare (at least, moreso than seasonal and legacy) and any Victorious skin is rare by standards of the community as a whole even though if you own one it won't seem rare because you by nature of the beast play with other people who own them too. No victorious skin ever becomes available again at least for now so it stands to reason that they become rarer per capita per year. Victorious Jarven is quite rare by now.

Not that many people have referals in. I think they lowered the requirement right before closing off the program but they are still pretty rare and now permanently unavailable.
