lets start with the main issue's and try and widen our scope a bit on solutions.

The population density on the East coast of the US greatly outnumbers that of the rest of the country. So the first thing you think is "why no east coast server then?". well I am going to try my best to explain this!

Let's look at Diamond Ranked players and above Que times. The High Elo Que times are ridiculous right now with 1 US server and as soon as we have 2 US servers the Que time on the East Coast servers will be about 40% longer and the West coast Que would just be outrageous.

So the solution is to centralize the servers. but lets go ahead and upgrade them as well. retire the 4 year old servers and have new stronger servers built!

Riot needs to stop moving like an summoner 3 Anivia on this and more like summoner 6 Rammus

I openly admit to knowing nothing about servers, but I wonder if it's possible to decentralize them? Keep the servers on the west coast, and add onto them with a location in the central US and eastern US.

The only concern I have is the cost of creating an entire new server for the east coast considering we are playing a free game and less than 5% of all League Players grow to actually purchase something in game.
