could AD/AS Diana be a thing?

would it be possible to build Diana using AD items and/or attack speed items with some sustain and/or tankiness mixed in? because of the way her passive works an on-hit build might be interesting. BorK could be useful and TF would be decent for sticking to your target. i realize that the scaling on her passive is significant enough where you waste a lot of damage potential and that she'd have to be really careful with managing mana since there aren't any AD or AS mana regen items. on top of that, she scales really well with cdr. your AD cdr options could be Essence Reaver and the AS option could be Zephyr. i have no idea if this would work or what lane this might work (at all? best?) in. feel free to post suggestions. i probably won't try this out ever, but it seemed like an interesting concept.
