New players complaining about smurfs

When you join a new community that is pvp based, expect to be bitched by people who have more experience then you; league of legends is no exception

There are even harsher communities then league of legends when it comes to new player experiences. Gears of War and Counter strike have bigger assholes then league of legends and people who wanted to be apart of these communities needed to suck it up and deal with these veteran players.

On counter strike, people smurf in silver all the time and destroy the silvers to show them how bad they are.

In Gears of War, if you play like a noob your team mates will bitch at you and the enemy team (which most likely has veteran players on it) will down you and dry hump your ass and sometimes even do it more then one time.

However, if you stick through until the end you will become a great player because you will have learned a lot about the game by watching how these veteran players play even if they act like a bunch of duchebags

PS: just remember, almost everyone has gone through this process at one point

Smurfs are an abuse and a constant source of discouragement for new players and it is a problem that Riot will never end fully solving.

But not all toxic people are smurfs....most of this cancer is from shitty players themselves who can't own up to their bad plays.

I've seen smurfs that actually help both teams.

Had a Graves, gold-plat level but smurfing of course, in my team once.

Graves : [All] Ezreal, never buy an AP item and an AD item, you should itemize in one way!

  • Thresh never hook to disengage, flay them
  • Good try! You overextended there, back off the lane when you don't have much vision, and multiple people are missing.

THIS GUYS, IT'S A POSITIVE SMURF, even if he penta-killed in that game.
