League of Legends Match History

So I just lost my tenth ranked game in a row... and at this point I'm tempted to just quit because I do not really enjoy playing anymore.

However I love league and don't really want to quit so I decided I would post my match history and ask what I was doing wrong. I only recently picked up ranked again, after a long break from it because I was frustrated with it like I am now. I pref mid or support but if i have to I can jungle and normally top. I know I'm not like pro material or anything, and I know for a fact I have a hard time making the right decisions when it comes to when I should roam or gank, my CS is normally lacking, but when lane phase is over, everyone seems to beat me to all of the farm, and I never seem to pick the right lane to go to. I know the twelve games I've played since picking it up again are not much to go by but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I try not to be toxic either, though lately I've been on tilt because no matter what I do I cant seem to make a big enough impact to change the course of the match. As a result I've said some things that I'm not proud of, but usually I notice and try not to say anything at all after that. I don't want to be "good" I just want to at least win four out of twelve instead of two out of twelve. This loss streak has been really hard on me, it makes me feel like I'm an even more of a failure then I already am at this game lol.

Play less games in a row and/or do some normals in between. Watch a comedy show after a bad match. Even if you're not actually tilting, you'll feel better and not be affected by a losing streak as much.

Also, don't sit there and call yourself a failure. It's just a game. Not everyone is going to be great at it, and there's nothing wrong with being in any particular rank. You can always improve, unless you quit.

Not trying to put you down, but your CSing is pretty abysmal. You need to basically double your CS numbers. That will get you items so much quicker and allow you to carry better.

The other thing you need to do is take a break after a loss. It took me a LONG time to realize this. Going on tilt is a real thing. If you lose a game, you are probably mad at yourself or your team without even knowing it and that isn't a good frame of mind to be in to start another ranked game. Go watch a show, surf the net, play something else, then play another game after you have settled down. Also, if you lose 3 games in a day, call it a day. You just aren't in synch that day.

If you do these two things, you will do much better.

A good tip for CSing in lane, which I taught myself, is that the turrets shoot once every second, if an enemy minion thats targetable nearby is this.

  • Early on before you get damage, caster minions can take a total of 2 turret shots total before dying, so for these you wanna time a basic attack just right before the turret fires on it, that shud make it low enough so u attack before the second turret shot, thus last hitting it.

  • For melee minions, the turret can shoot them 3 times, and theyll still be alive, hit them after the second shot, should net you the minion gold.

  • I forgot how many turret shots Siege minions take I think its 4 or 5, but after the 4 or 5th hit, try to basic attack right before the next one at a low level, and itll leave enough hp to pull off the last hit, just like you do with Caster Minions.

You'll have to vary yourself based on if your minions are attacking the enemy minions under turret.

So that should actually help your CS a lot more, AND it'll also teach you a good farming technique under turret if you've been pushed.

I recommend against item 3301 on Sona, she has modest disengage with her E and the spellthief is much better for making her trades hurt more.

Other than that you seem to be tilting. Take a break from ranked and play some normals or ARAM, I have a policy of never playing more than 2 ranked games in a row regardless of how well I did.

Not sure if it's the tilt or your normal playstyle, but you have too many deaths in most of your non-support games. 18/10 is not a good score in all honesty, anything more than 5 deaths in a game regardless of kills and you need to start analyzing your play. Make sure you ward and just because 2 teammates want to go exploring unwarded enemy jungle doesn't mean you have to go follow them. Stay back if you are unsure about the situation, your teammates may call you a pussy for refusing to dive into a fight they shouldn't have picked, but it's one less kill you would be giving to the enemy team. Make sure you don't just start camping mid after a turret falls because then you're missing out on critical gold, XP, and pressure that you could be getting from the side lanes. If you are playing mid and your teammates start doing this to you, don't be afraid to go top or bot and start collecting the cs that they refuse to stick with.

Since you were already 200 games into the season, it's a pretty safe bet that you were already right around where you belong. Ordinarily, if I saw someone who was like 8W-6L in their first season of ranked and then they had 10 losses in a row, I'd tell them that they probably got a bit lucky right at the start but that now they're falling to their correct MMR. (That's what happened to me when I first started ranked.) In your case, that's probably not true. Wherever you were before the losing streak, it was probably accurate. Which means that you should be like a god now that you're 10 games down. You are going to go into your next ranked game and tear your lane opponent to shreds. He's going to be laughably bad compared to you. Prepare yourself for a 10-game winning streak, because that's what's coming.

I take tp mid specifically so I have more opportunities to gank. I roam when the enemy is at low health and csing under tower. mostly I only roam and gank bot tho and I try to hold off on tp unless there's a ward in bot's side bushes.

as for tilting, I feel like I play better after a run.

Your builds are decent, not "cookie cutter" or "copy & paste" which means you are paying attention to getting what you need depending on the situation and that's good. The "Pro Builds" are great as they work in 70-80% of the matches you will play in but there are occasions when you have to deviate from the path to either help survive a fed laner/jungler or maybe to give some boost to you or a teammate to help push a lane down or to help save a lane. So keep playing with your builds and find what works best for you according to your play style, not everyone can/does play each champion the exact same way so it's more of a "Try it out and see how it does" type of thing.

For me, I tried the playing only ranked thing for a while and it leads to some bad results most of the time. Here recently I've started doing 6-10 normal drafts and only playing 2 champions at most and tweaking builds/play styles to get comfortable with the champion. In these "Normal" matches go ahead and take some chances and do something you wouldn't normally do in different situations so you can see first hand what the result is going to be by doing it. For example, on occasion when you feel comfy with certain skill shots/abilities against an opponent, once you get them poked down go ahead and make that short chase/turret dive and see if you can pull off the attempt and get out alive, don't worry if you make the dive and get the kill and shoot off through enemy jungle to escape turret aggro only to get caught by the jungler, this can and will happen to the opponent from time to time as well. This game is built around team play and calculated risks, it's impossible to sit in front of your own turret the entire match and win lane or even game. Sooner or later you will have to take a chance and make something happen. Use these normal games to test out ideas and see what you are capable of. Then take this knowledge into ranked play (once you get good at it, not just because you pulled it off once).

Also take whatever role/champion you like to play and play it to death. Every match possible try and call one lane and get your best or 2nd best champion for that lane and play it over and over and over. Over time you will get to play against different champions in your lane of choice and will get to see many different types of play styles come at you. This will better prepare you for ranked games as you will have a much broader sense of what can be done against you and with who and eventually you will also learn how to either stop them from doing it to you or figure out how to turn their strength against them. Patience goes a really long way in League and keeping your emotions in check will serve you better in the long run.

Lastly you can find a program online to record your game play or there are some sites that you can send a request to spectate the game you are currently in and get to see every move made in the entire match. This would give you some insight into what lead up to you being ganked and might give you some ideas on how to prevent it in the future. Just some ideas from someone who is in the crap ranks (but slowly making the climb out of HELL)

Here is a site (although I'm not sure how to register for it... I don't speak whatever language the important stuff is in) that has a replay of some of my games. Scroll down to my teemo game, it was a fun one.

Have u heard of the Egypt conspiracy? That players who lose a lot are just there to get other players more victories.

I am currently there bro. I had 80 lp in gold 3, then all of a sudden im in gold 4 with 0 lp. I main support, it doesnt matter how much i carry my support if 2 lanes fails. The issue is the lck of communication. Many kiddies refuse to listen. Then they die bc they wanted to stay in lane for 100 g with 200 health. Its pisses me off
