2828 Permaban Without warning and i havent had a chat ban in like a month

I have been really good lately on my toxicity and ive been reported one game in the past month by another player who was toxic to me for no reason I dont understand why lyte perma banned me and i would just like another chance to improve. I have been toxic in the past but i have honestly changed. I have sent a support ticket cause i honestly think it might have been a mistake. I say the f word often but not towards anybody usually. if im ever toxic its not really towards anyone while i do defend myself if i am being abused

Its not trolls i defend myself against its toxic players when they are toxic towards me, most of the time if someone calls me a noob or something I just reply in the nicest way possible unless im in a really bad mood i will tell them to stfu but thats not really permaban worthy

Unless something recently changed all perma-bans are reviewed by an actual Rioter (not necessarily Lyte), including chat/behavior history. The previous chat ban(s) were your initial warning and the time afterwards your chance to improve. The fact you were perma-banned means someone at Riot believes you did not improve with these second chances and did not have the ability/motivation to do better.

To my knowledge, the 2828 code in particular means it was an escalated ban based on a review from Lyte. Though I could be mistaken.

Huh, really? I'll be honest I do not know the codes involved but I would be surprised if there was a code for a review from Lyte specifically.

It's a relatively new code added when they began doing the Escalated Bans. The information I was given at the time indicated that it was specifically for bans issued by him. It may well have been shifted to wider usage since then - the system's been in place a while now, so my information may be out of date.

Still, it's absolutely certain that it was a manual review from his team, so you weren't wrong.

I probably should have thought that all through a little more before posting.

Oh I'm not going to fact-check you or anything on that, don't worry. I'm sure you have more relevant information than me, I haven't really delved too deeply in the exact system specifics.

usually with a perma ban unless its something like chargebacks its usually from previous bans (have you been ban before? how many times? how long were they?) if thats the case it could just be previous convictions finally coming back at you. while you are trying to not be as toxic as before maybe it is too late. it could also be that you might either be trying to sell your account, or having people "boost" your account!

I just dont understand why i didnt receive one warning specifically stating that if i didnt stop my toxicity i would be perma banned, I have never received a temporary ban on this account.

Chat restrictions are warnings.

Regardless, it takes some pretty major behavior to skip the 2-week ban stage and shift straight to permaban status.

I know people who have gotten 100+ chat bans ive only gotten like 10 I never received a warning specifically stating i will be perma banned if my "toxic" actions didnt stop

Why would you even need a specific warning when you clearly can recognize that your actions are wrong? You deserve the ban if the only way to stop you (if only temporarily) from trolling/negativity is to threaten you with a permanent ban.

You shouldn't need a warning specifically stating you will be permabanned.

You are (or should be) aware of what behaviors Riot and the community consider to be unacceptable. Continuing to exhibit those behaviors when you've already explicitly been sanctioned for them is a pattern of behavior that can really only end one way.

If that basic fact isn't enough of a specific warning for you, then I don't know how much good a "hey, we gonna perma-ban you if you keep that up" is going to do. Because that statement is implicit in the very fact of perma-bans.

Like i said though i have improved a lot since my first chat ban and i havent gotten a chat ban or even a valid report for toxic actions in a month so that is why im so shocked at my perma ban

I dunno. But according to the Rioter that reviewed your case, there wasn't nearly as much improvement as you're indicating here. Behavioral perma-bans are explicitly reserved for players that they do not believe they can reform.
