Does Yasuo still counter Nidalee

Recently i'd like to think i can play yasuo pretty well and I played a nidalee in middle lane and i just got absolutely wrecked, given i died once from a gank. But even then it was just too much, the Nidalee was jumping everywhere dodging all my skillshots and staying out of range of my E. With the new passive rework on nidalee and getting cougar form before level 6, does yas still counter nid? Or did i just not understand how to play against nid as yas
