Hey everyone, I just wanted to thank the community as a whole for there amazing support in this event. As this is my first event, I wasn't expecting much, but you guys definitely blew it out the water(hahahahha..........ok ill stop now.) But seriously, you guys are awesome.

But anywho, I would just like any feedback at all, positive and negative, about the event and how it was run. As I said, this is my first event. I plan on doing these events as often as possible. Any ideas for future events would also be greatly appreciated.

One steadfast rule on all my events I won't be changing:

**All of these events will be 100% free for the community. I will be the ONLY one required to spend any money. I don't want anyone to feel left out or anything. **

But just an idea, I was thinking of maybe making the next event for a charity. Like, we vote on a charity together through a poll. Afterwards I'll set up the appropriate page so everyone can monitor the donations. I'll ask the community to say...post a screenshot of them being positive in a game. And for every screen shot I will donate X amount of dollars to that charity. At the end of it we will see how much as a community we donated and I will put the donation as "From the League of Legends Community."

As I said this is just a thought and definitely would need to be polished up, but you guys get the idea. Thanks again guys!!!!

Hi guys,

Miss Wake n Bake is by far one of the most generous people that I have met, not only in the League of Legends community, but also in my life. Throughout her first event, I have been talking to her and I could tell that she wanted nothing more than to give to the community. From her irregular sleep patterns, I could tell she was busy staying up to make sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the event (Big props to her cat for working hard too!). For those of you who don't know what her first event was; she basically handed out 70 free skins that 70 random people asked for - YES, 70! And what did she ask for in return? NOTHING. Many asked her why she was doing this, and I myself questioned the very same thing, but after interacting with her for a while and observing how the event played out throughout the 7 days, I can undoubtedly say that you guys should be very excited for any upcoming events ran by Miss Wake n Bake. She is legit, and I am 100% her future events will be too.

This is not some thank you message for receiving a skin - in fact, I did not win a skin, yet I am still thankful that I was able to meet such a kind-hearted person and hope that more people will be able to experience her generosity and care for the League of Legends community.

First off I want to thank you for doing such a nice thing for the LOL community!

As for doing other future events I really like the Charity Idea and I look forward to participating in any which way I can. ;)

The event was wonderful, you are one of the most generous people that I've ever met. Even though I didn't get anything, it was nice to see all the happy people :D It's very nice that you're planning on more events, but tbh, that's a lot of money spent D: Don't want you to waste TOO much money brightening people's days :c

Generally, I just think the amount of skins every day (10) should be decreased, so not that much money would have to be spent ^-^

Also, I like playing with nice and funny people, so I decided to send you a FR ^-^

I really like the charity idea. It seems like a great way to promote positive attitudes in the community and also a great way to help promote positive things in the real world.

Everything's better when everyone's happy.

Breaking down some of the logistics, for such a charity drive we'd want to hopefully capture the same energy and excitement that was present in the skin giveaway. Obviously that's hard to do, but I think making it a sort of game could be the way to go.

I'll ask the community to say...post a screenshot of them being positive in a game.

Might I suggest flipping that on it's head, and having them take a screenshot of someone else being positive? That way it kinda turns into a scavenger hunt. You could also encourage others to be friendly as a way to coax the other players in their match to be friendly as well.

The scavenger hunt on it's own lacks a lot of the drive the giveaway had, but it could still be fun. Maybe someone else can think of a way to help draw people into the event? Friendliest person found gets a Mystery Skin?

To be honest, since this was my first time seeing YOUR post, I was quite skeptical (and probably dumb to take a chance to just start posting things on your thread).

However, seeing you get a lot of support makes me glad you aren't one of those players. Also, I'm not sure if your event you hosted not too long ago for the gifts is over or not (I'm assuming it's over from this post), but even though I wasn't able to be gifted I love the thing you are expressing to our community. I think that's really awesome!

I'll be looking out for more fun events from you here and there and give you an up vote (here or Reddit if you do that) or whatever is needed to raise awareness for your threads.

I'd just like to say thank you for being such a generous person, it really is a nice change from the usual community. The charity idea is also amazing, not only for donating to a charity, but also promoting positive gameplay in League. So again, thank you for all your hard work. I was really happy to see your ++The Gifting Fairy++ thread. Although I didn't post in it (I don't really need skins) I want to thank you for making a lot of people's day.

I love the idea of donating money for every screenshot of positive in-game behavior. Or maybe a screenshot of being positive towards people with negative behavior. A kind of "your favorite -and positive- way to deal with ragers". Or just "your favorite way to encourage your team".

I'll post back if I come up with any other ideas. Keep up the good work!

Seriously, I was beginning to wonder whether generosity like this was even possible in this community. Though I did meet the occasional nice person, I was contemplating leaving this game just so I wouldn't have to deal with the toxicity. Your thread stopped me. When I first saw it, I thought it was a scam, like so many other skin giveaways are. But then there was proof that it was real. I didn't win a skin but it was nice to see people happy not for just themselves but for others as well. Thank you Miss Wake n Bake, I look forward to your future events.

The only thing I would suggest is leaving a list of everyone that was selected everyday.

As for future events, perhaps try and line them up with Riot events (Winter, Harrowing, feature game modes, etc.).

Very awesome of you to give to the community so selflessly.

Thank you for having done this and for contributing so much to this community, Miss Wake n Bake. ^^ Sadly, only 70 people out of the >1,000 that commented could be chosen, but I'm sure you made those people really happy and just the generosity of yours was an amazing thing for me to see. You seriously impressed me from the moment I opened your thread from the first time. :) I'm sure your future events will make a lot of other people happy and contribute even further to the community. The event was wonderful, this coming from someone who didnt receive a skin. Your generosity is awe inspiring. Hopefully those that received, and even those who did not, decide to pay it forward.

Also now that the event is over, add me! Would love to play some games!

I talked with her briefly, and honestly was surprised at how nice she was. Not to say I don't meet nice people, but someone as nice as she was for as many random people sort of blew me away. I was lucky enough to win a skin from her, though I haven't had very much time to play, I did get to play with it a few times and it was great.

I, along with others, was skeptical, thinking there was some catch to go along with it. When I got back to my place after being out with my brother to find the skin I was sure to take a screenshot and show everyone there really was no catch, and she was just a super nice person trying to do something nice for the community.

The charity is for sure a great idea, although I'm not exactly sure how you would set it up, your idea seems pretty good. I particularly like these type of posts though as it's actually something positive being done with this community. Too often people are so quick to jump on the state of the game/riot/ect, and at times it can be a bit depressing hopping on the boards. These posts have definitely been a bright spot though, so keep up the great ideas.

I don't see how anyone could say anything negative about this. Literally in all the games I've played, I've never seen anything done on such a level of generosity such as this within the community.
