Should I transfer or not?
I'm really conflicted right now. I live in North Carolina, and everyone I know plays on NA. Me and some friends have made Smurfs on LAN, and we have been grinding for a while trying to level up and get champions.
BACKGROUND: We are playing on LAN because of GREAT ping! I get 150 ping on NA, and I always thought that was okay, but after hearing the stats about challenger players and average ping as you go up tends to go down. On LAN I get a whopping 60 ping and it is a night and day difference in how the game feels.
Originally I said I wasn't going to transfer because I didn't want to fork over the money to get the experience I SHOULD be getting in my native server, but after playing on LAN so much, I almost can't play on NA. The ping is SO noticeable. I can see why West Coasters (mostly streaming pros) get so upset when they reach 90 ping. It's a huge difference. With that said I've found myself not even playing on NA.
Sure, lots of people in my games speak Spanish, but lots speak English too, and even more still are actually East Coasters like me. The only things holding me back now are the potential for miscommunication in ranked games (language barrier) and the fact that I would have to pay money from my own pocket to transfer the account.
I just really don't know, because I feel my potential competitively is MUCH higher on LAN, and I have already put in so much time on my NA account to get it all of those champions and runes and skins.
Anyone mind dropping some advice here?
