It's been a bit over a day now and I thought this was something that took maybe 4-6 hours. I'm sure times vary depending on the issue but this one is rather simple and i'm not sure if i should send another one in or not. Do they always respond to every ticket?

Seems to often be 1-3 days, and it can depend on what the ticket is for. Also, trying to 'bump' the ticket by adding more details/comments to it is actually counterproductive, as it'll drop it back to the end of the queue. Just be patient and you'll hear back.
For most things it takes ~2 business days. If there is an event going on it may take up to 4.
It's rare to go past that unless the person keeps making new tickets (which sends them to the end of the line again). Waiting for a response to that one ticket is best!
