Un-updated lore

I was wondering when riot plans on updating the lore section of the client. I remember reading through this a bit when I was leveling and I really enjoyed it but it stopped out of nowhere and I never saw another one since. Also while I was reading through the lore I read something on Kerain Darkwill and was wondering if anybody thinks he that he might be a possible addition to the league at a later date? And if yes would do you think his story would be?(I think it would most likely be with some sort of redemption back story because of his pitiful defeat to swain)

p.s. (I was on the PBE one day and noticed that riot removed the lore icon in order to put the replay button so was wondering if it is just going to be discontinued or something)
