Hey everyone!

I’m hoping to get my very first tattoo soon. I’m still looking for the perfect tattoo artist in the area, and have been brainstorming ideas in the meantime. Right now, I’m leaning towards a League of Legends related one! There’s so much epic art out there that I’m considering, but haven’t found the ~~perfect~~ one yet.

When you get a tattoo get something that is timeless and meaningful to you and don't rush in and get a tattoo on the spur of the moment. Think of what you want to get tattooed onto your body and write it down. If in 1-2 years you still think it's a good idea then go out and get it. There will be less regret behind getting your tattoo.

I strongly suggest not getting a league of legends related tattoo. I know Riot employs you and it would get you "mad street cred" over at the office but do you see yourself still working at Riot in 10-20 years? Video games tend to go obsolete after a while. Rarely is there a video game that gets made these days that warrants getting a tattoo. In past history Mario Bros and Zelda are really the only two games that span generations and remain relevant today as they were upon creation. Pac-man, space invaders and pong really didn't age as well as when they originally came out. Heck, even some more recent games like World of Warcraft and Halo had some real strong followings but they won't span generations. I would still caution you not to ink your skin up with a tattoo for a video game that many years later won't be something you're proud of.

The reason behind the Draven is because he is a Draven main (And personally, is a real Douchbag, just like his main) so that's that, and the Kalista was because he loved her quite a lot as well

I have also been thinking about some LoL inspired tattoos. I thought the idea of a wolf and lamb representing what Kindred represents would be really cool. I think a watercolor type style would also be really cool for many different champions.

Oh heavens no! I just finished my complete Native American inspired sleeve on my left arm in early January. It took me about a year to finish it all. The LoL inspired work will be for my second sleeve I plan on starting within the next month or so.

Getting a tattoo based on a video game is pretty dumb because in 10 years that video game will not be meaningful or relevant later on in your life. And the price to remove or cover up a tattoo can get pretty expensive when the sense of regret you have towards your stupid tattoo becomes too great.

I recall when they were unveiling the release of Halo 2 they did it by showing a guy's tattoo with the release date on it. Halo was a pretty big game back in the day and even with him working there I bet he is going to end up covering up or removing that tattoo later on in life if he hasn't already. Don't be that guy.

I haven't decided on location yet, as I didn't want to limit myself - I'm thinking anywhere along the lines of a massive back tattoo to maybe even just a simple line of text along my arm (like a quote). My favorite champion is Jinx :)

I think the Braum ram/icon thing is super cool. Also if you want something small I feel like it would be neat to have each piece of it across the top of the proximal phalanx ( the first little sausage segment) of the fingers.

According to lolking (http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/73469354#matches) you play Jinx mostly? Maybe if you got pow-pow on one shoulder and then fishbones on the other? Or on the inside of the fore-arm?

I'd love a Gnar tattoo someday. I have never been as excited for a champ since Gnar's release. He's my toplane baby <3

I'm also thinking Nami. She was the second champ I played when I joined and I still play her. Plus I'm studying marine biology so a bigger tattoo of her maybe swimming in the ocean or doing some swag like that would make more sense XD

There's two tattoos I want, and one of them is League-related, but I just can't commit. It's not about pain or anything like that, I'm just malleable and I know in a few years I'd probably want a different tattoo, instead, so I can't make up my mind.

Just curious since this was four months ago, if you ever found the artist you were looking for RiotJerkee? I'd love to see it, I am actually a session or two left until I finish my league of legends half sleeve (unless I make it a full sleeve too much amazing art to say stop)
