I'm thinking that hes going to passively gain exp and gold for monsters kept alive in his side of the jungle or perhaps gain exp for saving monsters from the enemy jungler Maybe he'll get his gold from ganking exclusively and only gain exp from keeping camps alive

would be an interesting addition to the game anyways :P not sure how it would be balanced either

anyhow any thoughts on the new champion or ideas as to what his kit will be?

Bard in his teaser goes at supersonic speeds and can make great objects disappear with a song... he doesn't do neither of those things in game. He doesn't move that fast and he can't make objects vanish / teleport them huge distances.
