Rito, are you slowing up my computer?

Sooooo, I'm stuck im compurgatory at the moment cuz windows is being a jerkwad and taking an eternity and a half to even get to the login screen. I'm getting a little tilted. I just want to get to my home screen and fix whatever's going on. It's already taken an hour and the little white circle made out of dots is just purely mocking me now. I know this isn't necessarily Windows HQ how-may-I-put-you-on-hold-today sort of thing but it's enough for me to go bitter and be paranoid that my Windows computer is basically stuck in this state. I've made it force-shut-down once after the hour thing but it's still stuck spinning the white circle on the blue background.

I looked up an article and it said some matter of things to do when it finally gets to the home screen but one of them said some files (video games) for example could be causing this huge slow up. League has never caused this before so I'm a little incredulous that it would be doing this now, but when your stuck with your own thoughts you kinda freak out now and then.

Could it be possible that League is causing my computer to take literally forever to get started up?

Do let me know.

P.S. should I just completely disconnect it from the wall and plug it back in or would that not do anything except make it worse?

UPDATE: It has now moved on to the "Owner" Screen with the dark blue background and the windows logo on the right, but the loading white symbol is still taunting me. Send help.

well it could be virus downloaded into files that are causing your issue.

might have to do a system restore or a complete erase and reboot of everything,. see you in about 2 days

Ehehehe Norton is your issue xD jk, it is a very bad program though, get avast! and malwarebytes , both are free, avast! is for real time protection and malwarebytes is for if anything gets through avast!... all i can say is it's time to upgrade your potato if a game causes it to not load without even running.

Can you perhaps give me the specs of your computer? So i can decide if you need to reinstall windows, or if you need to just upgrade your potato xD

Preferably like this: OS:Windows 10 Ram: 16 GB DDR4 Dominator GPU: GTX 980 TI SSC White Edition CPU: i7-6700k Skylake 4.0 ghz Motherboard: z170 Pro Gaming Power Supply: 1000W Gold rated 1 SSD- Samsung Evo 1 HD- Blue 1 TB CPU Cooling- Corsair liquid cooling

That's an example of my rig, so once ya gimmie your specs i can better decide if you just need to reinstall your windows and make sure your virus programs are working properly, i only say this because i had a computer a while back that was a pain in the ASS CHEEKS.

It had norton AND mcafe on it STOCK, and you couldn't remove EITHER of them off the computer without it making the computer crash, but upon getting a new install of windows, it finally let me get rid of the 2, and it finally let the computer stop crashing and being slow. But then the hard drive failed... Never buy a prebuilt computer off of newegg , i didn't buy it myself, but my friend who did, gave me the computer for free after he got fed up with the damn thing, and i had to try to fix it xD. ANywhooooo lemme know, and i might be able to help further, I am getting the feeling that you will need to reinstall your windows, and make sure your virus programs are not interfering with anything, which NORTON is known for doing.
