Am I screwed?

Well guys, I've gotten myself into quite the predicament. After about 2 months of ranked play, trying to climb from Bronze IV where rito placed me, back to silver where i was last season, i finally achieved it. But, shortly after I got into silver, i got on a massive losing streak. (Like 8 in a row) this caused my MMR to drop drastically, now only gaining 11-15 LP per game and losing 20-25, but i can't be demoted back to where I "belong" according to the MMR, so what do i do? A I screwed? Will i ever climb again?

You can be demoted

When your MMR matches that of a Bronze 5 player you get kicked back into Bronze 1 I believe is how it works.

Silver isn't like bronze; you are probably well aware that in Silver, you have a much higher chance of getting a team that knows what they're doing. Bronze can be a bit of a crapshoot sometimes (e.g. have 4 games in a row with players that are clearly silver tier, then getting trolled for 8 games straight). Going on a losing streak, I hate to say, in silver could be your fault. Maybe this season, Silver tier requires more skill than last season. :/

But here I am talking up from bronze III (demoted from my original place at bronze I out of my provisionals because I got trolled. A lot.)
