I'm so tired and sick of these smurfs

These guys get on their bronze accounts and que up into bronze ranked games and brag and brag about how good they are, so you give them what they want, and as soon as things start heading south, boom. Harassment and toxicity for days. "stay bronze kiddo you belong here" "you're literally so fucking useless and bad at this game" Like really dude? No shit i belong here, if i didn't belong here i wouldn't be here. I'm just trying to get better, and douchebags like this make me question my motive to even try to climb. I don't care how good your main is, and i don't want to hear your constant bitching about how you aren't winning this bronze game, and have you take out all your rage on me because I'm a 4/9/26 Naut and apparently the game is my fault. Fucking sick of these guys. Amazed at how bad bronze is? Good for you, go back to whatever elo your main is and spare me your constant bitching, you fucking chose to play here after all.

EDIT: Thanks for all the replies everyone! My most popular post ever by far. I was a little stressed out because of this and i decided to clear things up. The Ezreal in the game that caused me to make this rant WAS good. Most likely was a smurf, but he was just so full of himself it was ridiculous. harassed every other team member, flamed us for every single TINY mistake (like ulting zed instead of the adc or something like that) and never looked at or took the blame for his own mistakes. like getting caught out in the river, it was OUR fault for not following him like little starving puppies, obviously. I've had these liars that say the are smurfs and i can assure you this guy was legit. But the toxicity and harassment is what i wanted to address. The fact that he thought he was privileged enough to talk down on us like he was a king among peasants was ridiculous.

Most of the people that say "hey let me mid I am platinum main account" are simply LYING ... ;)

I have never met anyone that made that claim and played like the skill they claim to be, so nowadays I NEVER let them take what they ask ... simple as pie and it teaches them a lesson ;)

If it makes you feel any better op if they cant carry a bronze game they probably arent smurfing from very high up. The majority of guys like that are silver 5 idiots who're stuck in silver 5 and so make a smurf to play in bronze and feel better about themselves. Ignore em, focus on how you're playing, how you can fix any mistakes you made and how you can get better as a player. Although don't expect things to magically get better once you get out of bronze, every elo is just another layer of elo hell.

I've never actually been in bronze myself. I think maybe Bronze 1 long time ago but that was a long time ago.

Anyways, when the Ranked Reset hit, I didn't play ranked at all until three - four days ago. Now, as you can imagine this is atleast 4 or so months after the reset, damn near everyone had done their reset matches by now.

During my ten matches for the reset placement, I was paired up with nothing but unranked and bronze players for some reason, probably because of MMR. I'm talking FRESH level 30's and some bronze 2's / Silver 4's. Now, it was a bit unfair because I was Silver 1 last season (Honestly gold but I never finished my promo's) But I noticed that there were ALOT of smurfs in these unranked games. Almost everyone in the game was unranked and doing placements. Some were legit new players, but quite a few in my games were smurfs. Most had fresh level 30 with their match history being nothing but bot matches where they had no items, no kills, and alot of deaths. (Xp grinding in bots, with bots.)

These smurfs were probably upwards of plat. And most playing Nunu jungle. And I hated seeing it; not because it made the game harder for me, but because these unranked players were having to do their placement matches, the games that are suppose to determine skill and where they will be placed! with smurfs who literally rolled all over them. I tracked two players on Lolking who played very well. They both ended up in Bronze because of these smurfs ruining the placement matches. I got into Silver IV simply because of my high MMR before the reset, but these players were thrown into bronze. How is this fair to new ranked players? They're being thrown into a division they probably don't belong in simply because a Plat player got bored and felt like trolling them. Riot seriously needs to address the issue.

TD : DR Smurfs are in placement matches ruining the game for new players.

If someone claims to be a plat or higher smurf in bronze and loses their lane, they are most definitely lying. If they're playing mid lane and they can't snowball the game, they are MOST DEFINITELY lying. I got through Bronze and Silver this season as support (I've been Gold I a few times, and Plat in Season 1, all as support) and winning games against bronze players is generally as easy as denying vision and warding. This is true for every lane, not just support, but being in support puts you in a position to do this.

So basically, if someone says "I am plat smurf", goes mid, and never buys a single ward, they're probably a Silver V smurf playing in Bronze for funsies.

After almost 2 seasons of absolute trash in ranked queue, I stopped caring. It's either the smurf who will feed on a team he doesn't like, to make sure they lose, then the next game he's 30/0...

or the endless supply of terrible people. After being called a fa99ot, ni99er or someone wishing my mother dies from cancer the 1000th time, you realize these people aren't there to play lol, they are there to mess with you. I reported people the entire season for this stuff, they are still there in ranked, ruining games. I admit now I'm fairly toxic, and who can blame me.

When you get someone like this in your game, regardless of being a smurf or belonging to that elo, mute them.

Edit: OOPS i checked the wrong ezreal, the one you're talking about probably is a smurf (http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=SixScythe), my bad. But the second point i made still stands, mute the toxic players and try working on your own play.

hahah they're probably like silver, so they aren't good enough to single-handedly carry a bronze game even though they can probably shit on most bronze players in lane.

oh the luls. i'm only gold 2, but every now and then ill get grouped with a team of all bronze / silver while duoing with a friend down there. shit is hard lol and often seems impossible to carry. e.g. when the enemy graves is 10-0 and yours is an entirely irrelevant vayne with 30cs at 10 min.

idk I'm sure you've heard this a lot, but try to ignore or not let feeders/trolls affect your individual play. For example, bot lane is fed? see how hard you can deny your opposing laner, possibly even killing him (safely). I think you'll see at least yourself improve. If you're very ahead, a nice roam (while letting your adc or whatever take the kills) can do wonders. Remember, especially at bronze, not only are the dead losing gold/xp, you are gaining gold, but their morale has also been hit hard. I think the lower in division you go the more tilty players become.

The sad thing is that everyone who brags they're a smurf and plat, end up feeding themselves. Ultimately they're trying to just trick you into letting them play whatever lane and champ they want and then just screw you over because they're so bad.

It's because Bronze players have better teamwork than Gold players. Bronzes give other players what they want, out of a teamwork effort, and then the nature of the silver-plat comes out. They're a real rotten bunch of players. I will take a bronzie over a gold for sure any day.

Never thought of it this way, but extremely well said... I'll remember this the next time I see this mentality or situation... which should be in the next 2-3 games.

and I'm tired of this bronze people. Well I'm bronze but only motive about this is this people that doesn't know how to play at all. I was playing a ranked game duo bot and the rest of the team was horrible, both the top and jg died before the minions spawn.
