Name change

Dear riot a lot of my friends get name changes on this game and i like playing with them but after they get their name changed they don't tell me and expect me to know that its them. When someone changes their ign can u create a little text under their name that says previously "so-and-so" for a short time after they change their name. It would help a lot with some of the people i play with. Its just an idea that i have.

I agree with the sentiment, however I think it should be

a hover over that appears when you mouse over their name, and not always visible 2)only appear for a limited time as you already said, and only if you had been friends with the person before the change.

ps this isnt a huge deal for/to me. do your friends change their names often and without telling you? That's odd...

league has way to many problems to deal with right now like no east cost servers for instance not a bad idea but not worth the time when you can just ask them
