why is this game so team dependent

Why should I lose if I am making all the calls for objectives and correct actions yet my team wont move, my score reflects performances yet I cant win this season, 7 wins 24 losses and ive only been negative in 4 of the losses, usually occurring off a large snowball, i dont feel like i am up to gold level yet but surely deserved the silver 1 i held all last season...i have been up to gold 1(in season 4) it just seems to be getting harder and harder to carry 4 people...
