Pretty fuckin salty right now
I keep getting 1/2 pick. I don't get to choose bans, and I get counter picked every game. Riot pls. At least with old first pick you got the ban decisions.

Can you trade in the new draft? If so, see if there is one non-a**hole on your team who will trade with you. This will prevent countering.
Then ask to trade so you can can counter pick. People queue for a role, so its not like they will "steal" it from you.
Just ask for what you want banned? In this way, you have a 3/5 chance on choosing your bans versus a 1/5 per usual. Unlucky though that you keep getting those picks :P
I think this system is much better. People who pick first have a great chance to play the champions they're best at, while people with lower picks, whose champ is more likely to be chosen before they can choose it, get security in knowing that certain champions they have a hard time playing against won't be an issue.
