Something that hasn't changed about league in all these seasons
So I'm playing some League, having a good time, when all of a sudden my champion stops responding. WTF I think to myself, and then the "reconnecting" window pops up.
After a few minutes of this with no avail, I close out of the client and try to restart the game. Much to my surprise, I can't even log in:
Nothing changed with my internet. Nothing changed on my end. As you can see in the background, I was able to browse the web well enough to look up that the server is still online. If the server is online, and I'm online, why was I disconnected from the game? Why can't I reconnect to the game?
This is not user error. Here I am, able to type and post something online, but I still can't log in to the game client.
Oh and then there's progress. It's not a "firewall issue". It's an "unknown error".
I'm glad your company is sorry for the inconvenience. I'm glad a note was sent to the server. Is a note being sent to my teammates, who will inevitably rage and report me for afking? Is a note being sent to Leaverbuster?
If you want to combat toxicity, nothing is more rage inducing than a situation like this.
