ASUS ROG GL753VE-DS74 17.3" Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7700HQ (2.80 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 16 GB Memory 256 GB SSD 1 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop - Newegg.com

Hey all

I need some opinion from outside sources. Should I wait to get a gaming laptop with a GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080. Or should I buy this laptop that has an i7 processor and a GeForce GTX 1050TI. I've been meaning to get a gaming computer for years and i finally just got the money to afford a pretty nice one. I want to be able to buy a laptop and not have it completely drain my checking account.

Thoughts?

Don't but a gaming laptop, (although they work just fine). Heat is an issue ESP with that GPI and CPU combo. And all I mean by that is that the life of the CPU and GPU is shortened but long periods of high heat.

You could build a mini itx motherboard and a smaller case and the airflow would be better, the heat would be better, and the ability to upgrade is better.
