One thing that tilts me is that everyone assumes all Yasuo players are league's worst people. It's not fair that I get judged just because of the champion I love to main and I get told to kill myself. It's ridiculous I even have to say this. I've met a lot of cool and nice yasuo players, including myself. Remember that everyone that plays this game is an actual person sitting on the opposite side of that computer screen. And what you say actually may have an effect on that particular person.

Well when you have not met a single yasuo player who was friendly, did not feed , or go a whole minute without saying "gg i cant carry this, team too heavy" and you been playing this game for years you tend to lose all hope in people who play that champion.

Yasuo: goes 0-3 Team: OMG ITS ALWAYS THE FUCKING YASUO, PERMA BANNING YASUO FROM NOW ON. ALWAYS FEEDING AND MAKING ME LOSE MY GAMES.

Random champion: goes 0-6 Team: it's ok man just chill we have a better late game

havent really seen very many "nice and friendly" yasuo players who show good sportsmanship but i do encounter alot of quiet ones. there used to be alot of super toxic ones ive encountered in the past but since i moved onto draft (from blind pick) i dont really see overly toxic yasuos, that was even before the new 10 ban system

I've just had a few straight draft games of horribly toxic Yasuo players. I just dodged a game where a player tilted out of control in champ select because I banned Yasuo (because the other team was picking first and Yasuo is picked every game if not banned). He declared he would be reporting me for banning Yasuo and apparently was in a pre-made with my support (I was ADC) and encouraged him to pick a troll support just to punish me for banning Yasuo. And the other team banned Yasuo too anyway. Obviously I dodged because I should not be forced into a 40+ minute prison with such horrible people.

Sure, maybe not all Yasuo players are League's worst people. But most of League's worst people are Yasuo players. It sucks for the decent Yasuo players, but a lot of us are aggressive only because we've been tilted by most every Yasuo we see in game.

They're not.

You've had games where they are good, and friendly, except you don't remember them.

You don't remember them because they don't fit into your pre-defined frame of what a certain champ player should be like, so you forget them.

However, by the gods, should you encounter a player that does fit into your pre-defined frame, you're the first one to flame them and accuse them of being "just another x player."

I have saw every single main in the game the 7 years i play this game the only players who are the worst they are the yasuo mains

dont try to act "oh i am so missjudged" you literaly have on your match history a game where you feed and you are 3 lvl behind the rest of your team which mean you were ether AFK or trolling

So GTFO from here dude..

I met a really nice and friendly Riven main the other day. Even though she got completely shit on in lane she didn't flame once.

I feel for ya, but it is true most yasuo players are dicks. The ones who are good with him are dicks. The ones who are bad with him are dicks and they feed (and there's a lot more in this group than the other.) I ban Yasuo every game to avoid this, but I've had two matches today where someone wanted Yasuo and I banned him. They then troll picked mid. One game a player actually said to the team blame me for the match. Lost them both. So now not only are Yasuos dicks for the usual reasons, they're dicks who ruin matches if they don't get their way.

As much as I hate grouping up people like this, League's really full of dick Yasuos. On top of just dicks in general.

One thing is 100% truth in my case: My Yasuo is feeding his ass off/"having a bad game", their Yasuo is always winning with an absurd score. I never allow Yasuo ban to not go through for this reason alone. I don't think Yasuo is a bad champion but whenever someone picks him in my team, they never go for crit + damage builds that's going to win them the game, they wan't some absurd half tanky, bruiser build that was nerfed months ago.

So the only way they are picking Yasuo is probably because since he's popular, they think he's broken or freelo so they play him without even knowing how to do so properly.

I... I mean this is just every Yasuo player in every lobby when it comes to their own self image.

This is what I imagine goes through their heads:

"Im really great at Yasuo! I know cause Iv seen lots of great Yasuo players... INCLUDING MYSELF!"

Im joking around about the OP mostly. MOSTLY! As in 70% joking.

I mean its nice to have a positive self image, but not too positive... dial it back a bit. When you start self proclaiming coolness and niceness its gone perhaps a bit too far. Anyway, good luck with the toxic asshats out there, its summer the kids are out of school and the game always gets a little worse when that happens.

I'm a Yasuo main because I love the lore, a wandering samurai branded as the Unforgiven. The voice actor is one of my favorites from watching different kinds of anime he's ever been a cast in, I love his VO lines especially when he's constantly moving and my favorite one is of course "Sorye Ge Ton!" :D but do not get me started on his Nightbringer VOs :P "I will not be tamed!" All in all, the character, the kit, the lore, the voice, it all fits in a nice package and I'm proud to call myself a Yasuo main, first champ I've hit Level 7 Mastery, Second Penta Kill champ, I only have 142k mastery points on him which is not a lot (Too much Xin and Nasus games xD) but I really appreciate the time I put into learning him.

TL;DR I love my champion not just because of his kit but because of the story around his past and how he carries himself. I respect Yasuo's creator as well as Liam for voicing him. They can update and change his kit if they want, but it won't stop me from playing him because as I said I love the lore, the character as a whole.
