does anyone else feel horrible after playing league?

The game content is fine, its the general pool of team mates and opponents that just make for the worst gaming experiences ever. The worst for me are some team mate premades that simply dont want you in their game at all from the start.

Im going to take a long break from league; its not fun anymore and it only depresses the hell out of me. gl

Edit: all this over one very bad game in blind normal. I regret the thread but you folks helped me remember the good, gave tips on mitigating the bad and provided many perceptions imperative to improving my own.

thanks dudes.

Try playing in a different server. Seriously i am not trying to offend anyone here but americans are some of the most spoiled, greedy, depressed, disrespectful, uncooperative and egoistic people on the planet, did i mention terrible teamates with no sense of teamwork.

Yes they are, they won't accept making mistakes, they won't accept to hear any advice and all they do is report because that makes them feel powerful and fulfill their sick imagination.

I am sorry again if i am being rude and negative but it's just the truth.

I suggest try a different server and maybe you find more piece there.

In the end, it is the player that makes the playerbase. Cater to your teammates and treat them with the utmost of respect, and you shall so receive it in return. Should one person shoot you down for being so friendly and kind, the others should back you up and you are immediately rewarded as is. The community is much better than you think, you just have to bring it out in people. Its like working for a support company, you can't have good experiences if you don't make them, to both the representative of the company as well as the person in need of help. Perhaps I ask of too much, but it works for me.

Felt satisfied as hell.

Play with friends if you can. Mute toxic players etc.

Although if you're comfortable with taking a break altogether and feel like you can do other stuff then by all means do so too.

If there are ragers in all of your games then you are the problem, not the people you are matched with.

The only constant thing in all of your games is yourself.

Fair enough, later.

I honestly barely feel like this. I think you just take things to personally and don't focus enough on your gameplay. I barely even notice what people say and chat, while likewise just putting useful things in it. I think I was being insulted in like an entire game once and didn't notice until the end. It's also a great idea to find friends and make sort of a play time together. There's a friends list for a reason, add the people you enjoyed playing with and then play with them whenever you can. You do this to yourself, there are many options to avoid "terrible people."

I feel you OP, sometimes when I play league for a while, if I have toxic players in my games and a few losses in a short amount of time my attitude gets a bit bitter. I don't rage or anything in chat, I just go into a "don't bother me I'm kinda pissed right now" mood.

I try to have fun with my matches, winning or losing by making small talk or trying to get other people to laugh. It gets a bit difficult however, when the people in your match don't want to respond to any witty/cheesy remarks. The most common response I get when trying to keep a game fun is "stfu noob" and they proceed to be a jerk.

Not all games are like that, but it feels like there's more toxicity than fun these days.

YOU BEEN WARNED4/11/2015, 3:54:27 AM2 votes

wtf but you're just bronze, no offense.

I'd expect this from a place where the meta is actually relevant, a place where you can only play certain champions.

A place where you have to treat the game like a full time job to win.

That's my two cents, I'd tell you to work a little bit on your mechanics/build/last hits and things will be better

bronze V ~ gold 3 are areas of beautiful experiences.

.... Maybe less so bronze V if you don't blend in well, but still.

I don't really follow this /muteall logic, I just chew the people out but the worst is when you let someone know a mistake so maybe they can improve, or be more aware and they get so defensive and respond childishly. "LOL he so noob and mad." Kids are just idiots today.

Play with a premade 5

Idk about all the people who say this specifically about league of legends, but i'm really not sure why. I play a LOT of online games, and they are all the same. There's always gonna be those fuckboys who cant have fun in a game unless its a stomp or always have something prickly to say. Its present in every online game, and probably will be forever cause some people will always have that personality. Most games have a mute button, just mute em, and move on. Makes enjoying the game WAY easier, believe me, as some one who felt the same as you for a while. Any game, just mute, block communications, anything, just get em out.

Now have fun on the rift! Diana

Solo q tends to tilt me really hard. Now whenever I play, I usually just go with a group of friends for normals or ranked 5s, that way I'm playing with people I trust. and who I know won't flame at me for f**king up

Biffolo4/11/2015, 4:05:02 AM1 votes

I mean, I always do, but that is just part of a journey to become the best in anything isn't it? If one wants to be an lcs player, the journey there may not be super happy fun times, but certainly rewarding when you get there. Just look to the rewards and you will numb it out.

Well, if playing LoL depresses you, then by all means, take a break.

It all comes down to luck honestly. If my team is raging then half the fun is gone. I've been playing a lot of jayce jungle lately and some people don't like seeing a jayce jungle, so they harass me, but it's team builder so whatever.

just recently had a game as jayce and I started talking to the enemy gragas jungle after a long chase thru both our jungles and we were laughing back and forth about how silly it was. After that I made it my mission to counter gank and focus him whenever possible. All lanes were doing great after my ganks and everyone was enjoying the game. Then our adc which was a P remade with top and support had to afk because his sister fell down the stairs, instead of raging the mid and I expressed our concerns and we played on.

Later in the game is was getting to be baron time so I went to ward it and met their Alistair support there. Instead of jumping on him I decided to dance, he then danced back and the enemy gragas asked to join in. Very quickly we had both teams minus our Graves dancing in the river around baron and using sweepers as disco balls and my joke/taunt for confetti. It lasted a good minute or so until the enemy Darius said "okay, break in 3,2,1." Then we all went back to playing the game. We ended up losing due to 4v5 but everyone was nice and I had my first ever dance party, funnest game I have ever played

Sorry for the novel.
