Azir changes (worth?)

Sooo this week azir was free and I've always loved the champ and been making some sick plays with him, however he is really squishy and if you catch him slacking, its gg for him. I was planning to buy him but luckily I've looked at the pbe changes.. If most of these go through, will he not become thrash or will he still be worth my buy? Cause..
