What if i have one champion left that i need? not so much of a damn mystery now is it? muhahahahhahah cough choke.

If you have less than 10 champions available to be gifted, you will be gifted a skin instead.
You must have at least 10 champions that you haven't own yet. If you have less than 10, you get a mystery skin. :D
Well in a worst case scenario:
- that champion is
- and you've just finished a match to get over 450 IP.
- after finishing that match, only then Riot send you that mystery champion.
Oh, the pain....
