Concerned about the PMB removal

As not many of you know of..PMB is a side-app that used to work with League of Legends to help their patches download quickly..However, now that it's no longer using PMB(Pando Media Booster), the patch is really slow.. Like, 1kbps low. I'm concerned about the patching in this game..Is it always going to be this slow from now on? I honestly think removing PMB was a bad idea.

I haven't noticed a problem, personally. My understanding is that they removed PMB because they had built their own p2p solutions, and didn't need the 3rd-party add-on anymore. So I suspect that it's a kind of self-solving problem. Give it some time to build a client list and start finding/downloading from available sources, and it should pick up.

In theory.

If not, maybe ask in Help & Support.

Yea, mine is dropping to like 10 kbps. I don't know if PMB is cause or not, but I know it isn't my internet lol.

its not PMB, the patch is just a lot of crap....

PMB hasn't been working for a long time now, because the company went out of business.

what? i downloaded at 80mb and was done in under a minute or 3. I think its your terrible internet not riot.

Talk to your company. Buy a better router(routers do clamp speed/throttle if they're not pre-owned and you're using a router given by the company...they use cheap pieces of shit don't use their stuff) net neutrality is going to be a big thing within the next 10 years, suggest you pay attention and change your ISP to one thats willing to work with riot/any major gaming company.

They removed PMB because the company went out of business but someone else took up the service and large security hole.

Also PMB was always terrible.
