Dear Junglers,
I know there are plenty of decent junglers and jungle is a hard role to play and master, but in my normal MMR ( i believe its like mid silver, op.gg says 1150 or so) junglers seem to be clueless as to what exactly they should be doing at any given time..
The biggest one that bothers me is objective control. If you're not trying to at least keep tabs on the objectives on the map why are you even playing jungle? I end up having to take care of dragon warding while the jungler derps around near top lane most of the game... Then to actually take dragon its like pulling teeth getting the jungler to do what they're supposed to..
Second is keeping tabs on the other jungler. I'll admit I'm also guilty of this one sometimes but it seems like the other team's lee sin is always getting fed while the jungler screws around near top lane (seeing a pattern here..?). You should at least throw a couple wards near their buffs and keep an eye on where that bastard is from time to time.. He is your responsibility and technically your lane opponent.
Third is priorities. Junglers in this elo seem to think top lane is the most important and bot lane doesn't need anything... That's completely backwards. Bot lane is the most important lane to make sure snowballs or at least stays safe. I'm not sure if I'm right about this but as far as I can tell a jungler's priorities should be thus: Bot Lane, Objectives (dragon, baron, buffs), Mid Lane, Top Lane. Top lane should really be able to fend for themselves most of the time, even if they're getting camped. If top is getting camped that means there's no one defending bot lane from your ganks..
I know it takes a while to get used to the game and jungle is a pretty tough role to master, but people really need to at least keep these basics in mind. I just had to get that off my chest.
And no its not the jungler's fault all the time...but sometimes it is. Usually when you get dived in mid-lane but they're clearing the bird camp..
