Weirdest Bot Lane You've Seen?

Last night, we faced a team comprised of the following: . I assumed Gangplank ADC, as I'd seen it before, back before his rework when he was sorta like a male version of Miss Fortune. And I was honestly concerned about having to face Swain top as (since I was betting on Syndra mid). But it actually ended up being Syndra, of all champions. Even stranger, they found a way to make it kinda work. Part of that was on one of the 4 friends I was playing with, however, as he went 1/7/7 with Blitzcrank before leaving the match.

We ended up winning the match somehow at the hour mark, despite it being 4v5 for about the last third of the match, surviving two barons, and sealing the victory with a baron of our own. It was one of the oddest matches I've ever been a part of...

Shaco and Blitzcrank was the hardest bot I have ever faced. We literally couldn't do anything to them in lane. They would just sit in the bot lane bush with a pink ward so we couldn't ward it and see what they were doing. The shaco would drop 3 boxes and the blitz would pull us in. You got knocked up, feared, and killed without being able to do anything at all. Plus they would take turns backing and we wouldn't know.

Our whole team tried ganking them and they all died. It was crazy.

I have won a lot of game as all of these combo's......I even have above a 50% win rate with these combo's....

However they are still bad things to do and should not be done outside of a premade/teambuilder

sadly for them they didnt buy item 3302 and i was playing Caitlyn the first time and Ashe the second time

the second time i was heavily titled and gave them a few kills for no reason bit but still ended like 15/10 .... really dont know how they expected to win lane lol

I once did a Khazix Annie bot lane a couple seasons ago and our Kha'Zix got so ridiculously fed. Even though our mid laner ended up ragequitting in the middle of the game we were still able to get so ridiculously ahead in the game that it didn't matter that we didn't have an ADC because every time we had a teamfight we'd get at least 3-5 kills in exchange for less than 1-2 of our own. Eventually the enemy team surrendered in what was otherwise a super dominant game.

More recently I played against a team with a Quinn MasterYi bot lane (with Yi being the support). Surprisingly, it was not the weirdest thing in the game, with the enemy team having a jungle Twitch and me having a dominant performance on jungle Viktor .

Rammus Malphite was probably one of the more fun ones i've done. I don't know how often it works and i don't know if it would have worked if their jungler or top did any magic damage. Maokai Blitzcrank has some bad matchups, but when it works you win by enemy surrender. Swain Malzahar mana refund for days. DoTs for days. Probably similar to morg malz with the root + pool combo. I had to play against vayne with a vi "support" with morde naut. Can't say i want to do that again.

Adc-less botlanes pretty much require some sort of ranged dps elsewhere on your team. In other words: teambuilder, premades, or maybe normal draft if everyone is ok with it and understands how it works.

Teemo Shaco Bottom Lane. Both built AP and constantly set up traps in our jungle, which my teammates would then insist on fighting in.

On the plus side, I was Dr. Mundo and managed to chase Teemo down through 8 shrooms and 3 Jack-in-the-Boxes to kill him after landing every cleaver.

That was a good normal game honestly; no one was taking it seriously and everyone was having fun talking in all-chat. The Teemo and Shaco weren't even queued together.

Judging by your gold difference, you guys have been winning until that fight where you lost 3 people and 3 turrets in 1 go, and picked up again because you guys got the Baron buff, as well as ace'ing them at Dragon shortly afterwards.

But really though, their comp doesn't favour late game due to the lack of reliable sustained damage. But yeah you guys don't seem to have it either lol. it worked out thanks to Brand's massive damage chuck I suppose.
