Ezreal is sorta my favorite champion maker so I kinda wanna play the champion named after him...
That and Taric re-work is coming soon and it'd be funny to play Ez as a bunch of tarics storm the rift...

Vesarixx1 votesAD Ezreal: A lot of Ezreals try to only use Q for damage and pretty much forget they have auto attacks, you should be using primarily auto attacks if you can and using Q to keep your passive up, max E second for the kiting, avoid building tear if you can or if you do just realize it is not a power spike and you are now committed to farming up for a while before you can fight, use W on your allies to give them the extra attack speed and stack your passive quickly in team fights and when taking objectives, hit things with Q on the way back to lane to reduce your ult CD if it isn't up, use ult on other lanes if you see a kill/assist opportunity.
AP Ezreal: You aren't super strong early and don't have reliable wave clear, farm up as much as you can in the laning phase since late game you do incredible damage to entire teams, you can burst squishy targets and then turn around and pump out sustained damage for the rest of the fight, get Lichbane after you have some base AP, not as a first item. You are extremely safe in lane since you can farm up with Q so you should be able to get farm pretty easily.
Also never use E to start a fight.

this was in recommended... Is it a good buy first for Mana and Crit and CDR? What would you recommend second? Trinity?
But I stopped going with recommended as it got me to build Tear on Nasus and my diamond mentor (who sadly quit a few months ago) cried himself to sleep over after seeing that..
as AP ezreal I see W and E have good damage... but Q not so much..
Vesarixx1 votes is situational, AP Ezreal is more about bursting people down quickly than maximizing sustained DPS, but you could do some decent hybrid builds with it. is a late game item, doesn't really do much until it transforms. seems to be the new start for Ezreal, trinity is still an option but not as good as it used to be, you can really just go rapid fire cannon for a quicker power spike after ER. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are facing an assassin like Rengar Ezreal can build zhonias as a defensive item since he scales with the AP from the item, even if you are going AD.

sure its not as strong as AP but it's do-able in my elo and fun.
I went for ER my last game went well against a graves. But I picked up a trinity second.. but I was fed so fed and had 200+ farm. (Doesn't hurt when you have a plat support you... xD)
I was able to build ER. Tri force, IE, and almost RFC. but by that time we won.
your suggestions helped greatly.. but I don't think that's a good build path unless I'm SUPER AHEAD.. so ill go ER and RFC normally.. like you say..
any tips on landing his ult? I tried getting 
to do well with his ult but everyone kept destroying them and they don't give a lot of vision anymore.. :(

Sometimes I wish I could get sightstone as an ADC but that hinders your damage output xD
lastly ... Thunderlords or deathfire?
Thunderlords I know is OP right now..
but how ezreal is with deathfire.. I know his Q W and E proc it and none of them are DOTs or AOEs... besides his Ult but that does absurd amounts of damage reguardless.
reason being DFT has no cooldown.. but TLD does..
Vesarixx1 votesEzreals W is AOE but if you are going AD then you don't really want to use it much early as it costs a lot of mana, thunderlords is probably the best on him, he can stack his passive up in lane and go for a quick trade with a Q and a few auto's, between the extra attack speed and the thunderlords proc you should win pretty easily, AP Ezreal should go thunderlords as well since it enhances your burst. Deathfire touch is more of a sustained damage thing, which is why DoT mages took it, but even some High Elo Brand players are recommending thunderlords at the moment.
As for hitting his ult you just need to get used to the timing and predict where your enemy will be.
