Suicide Squad: Harley Quinn emulating Jinx?

So after watching the new Suicide Squad trailer and noticing Harley Quinn's character has taken a remarkable turn from her original version, I was left thinking she's now very much like Jinx. The font of the text at the end of the trailer also closely resembled Jinx's writing around the time of her champion reveal when she vandalized various champion pages

Anyone else think the same thing?

You do realize Jinx is also not an original character? Her entire makeup, mannerisms and personality are an almost pure staple/reference/emulation to "Tank Girl" whom is an old comic book character, and even has a movie.

Also, the Harley Quinn in suicide squad looks terrible. So sad too bad.
