Hey Everyone,
Quick survey, unless someone beat me to it. Just wondering what determines what skins you buy? Do you buy skins for your favorite champions? Or do you just buy the skins you like, and then play that champion more (if you didn't already play them)?
Linna Excel1 votesI get skins that I really like for champs I like playing. If I don't like the champ or the skin options, I'm not getting anything for that champ. I generally when they are on sale.
Also moving forward I'm going to start considering the possibility of riot doing a major rework or nerf on the champ as well. I loved Soraka pre-nerf so much I got a skin for her. Now I'm not so happy with it. So now I'm stuck with a skin for a champ I have a 90% chance of disliking after the rework.
I know Poppy is in line for both a VU and a GU. As of now I like her, but I really want to hold off on a skin for her. I'm pretty sure I could trust the VU team on a champ like Poppy, but I'm not sure I could trust the gameplay team though.

Linna Excel1 votesNP. If I was just going to play her support, I probably wouldn't have a problem with it.
But I really loved her as a mid/top laner. I had just started to get really comfortable enough to take her into any lane/situation, including jungle. Yes I won the jungle game against other players I tried with her.
That's why I feel like it's important to like a champ to be willing to get a skin for it. If you are unlikely to play a champ or don't enjoy playing that champ, getting a skin for it seems like a waste when there are a ton of other good skins out there.

Step 2: take only one class/Semester at a community collage close to home
Step 3: Stay with parents with the rent agreement saying if you cook for the family you don't have to pay rent...

Caoil1 votesI play tournaments to win RP. I like having a skin for the champs I play, but I don't buy skins for those champs if I prefer the classic better (like braum and jinx). If I have leftover RP I splurge on the pretty skins that I really like, then I main that champ in norms.

Caoil1 votesI wouldn't say it's reliable, but I win RP in about 25% of the tournaments I play. Other people win less. It depends on how well you can play with a team. I've won about $110 worth.
Tournaments are also a great way to practice and to learn new builds and try things out that you might get flamed for trolling with. The best thing I saw in a tournament was an AP nasus mid who destroyed us early game.
