Hey Everyone,
Quick survey, unless someone beat me to it. Just wondering what determines what skins you buy? Do you buy skins for your favorite champions? Or do you just buy the skins you like, and then play that champion more (if you didn't already play them)?
I get skins that I really like for champs I like playing. If I don't like the champ or the skin options, I'm not getting anything for that champ. I generally when they are on sale.
Also moving forward I'm going to start considering the possibility of riot doing a major rework or nerf on the champ as well. I loved Soraka pre-nerf so much I got a skin for her. Now I'm not so happy with it. So now I'm stuck with a skin for a champ I have a 90% chance of disliking after the rework.
I know Poppy is in line for both a VU and a GU. As of now I like her, but I really want to hold off on a skin for her. I'm pretty sure I could trust the VU team on a champ like Poppy, but I'm not sure I could trust the gameplay team though.
I buy skins for my favorite champions and the skins I like, SO +1 To both answers
I play tournaments to win RP. I like having a skin for the champs I play, but I don't buy skins for those champs if I prefer the classic better (like braum and jinx). If I have leftover RP I splurge on the pretty skins that I really like, then I main that champ in norms.
