Ranked Nightmares

So I started playing ranked a few days ago, got stuck in Silver V after pubs, from the relatively few games I've played I've noticed one thing stand out, which tends to lead my team to a loss. So people in my rank, they don't know how to deal with someone ahead, they get slightly behind in gold maybe dies once, then they continue to play hyper aggressive and go in for trades when they (should) know they'll lose, and this snowballs their lanes into the point where their laning opponent can just one shot them if they over-extend at all. or even just tower dive them. They continue to play a hyper aggressive play style, and then the opponent gets so fed they roam and kill all the other lanes if they don't see it coming ahead of time (can you buy those ward guys?) and then other lane opponents get fed, then their entire team excluding maybe one person is so fed that we can't even 5v5 in what usually would be an advantageous position, on what would usually be an advantageous engage.

TL;DR : Why do people continue to play hyper aggressive when behind and seemingly never learn?
