Just an observation
After midnight, I get a lot less intentional feeders and AFKs in ranked. Don't know if it is just a coincidence or if the daywalkers are just filled with more terrible people.

there are more children up during the day.
I mean, one reason is because most kids go to bed... but definitely not the main reason (although some would probably argue). I'd have to say the most likely reason is because people are trying to finish the day off strong (or start the day off right) because most people playing at that time are trying to get some wins, and also there's less interruptions in the middle of the night compared to the middle of the day or evening. I usually get a lot of people who seem to have short tempers and will start flaming someone or everyone fairly quickly, but I'd assume that's just because it's after a day of other frustrating games.
