Solution to the annoying bot friend requests.

All we need to do is require a captcha to send a friend requests. Real players send few enough requests that it would not be overly annoying, and it would prevent the bots from sending the requests.

Upvote to end the robot tyranny!

Edit: For people saying it would be annoying, think about how often you actually send friend requests. You already have to type their username, what are a few extra letters? This wouldn't need to apply to adding people after a game, because that is not where the issue comes from.

Xerfer, I wouldn't conclude JUST YET that spams on League are coming from the borderline sweatshops of Indian Information Technology. Why don't we implement first, and then see...

I mean honestly, how hard can it be to add a simple captcha as a temporary partial solution to the problem? Put one employee on captchas for a day and then brainstorm out a more effective solution later.

um no, please no, is it really that annoying to just hit x that we need super annoying captcha....

I'd rather have list of people who recently friended you so that you can send in spam report, when spam report levels get high they should be sent off for review. Or have a report spam button on chat windows.

It's something. Heck, why does this board have captchas for every login, and nothing at all for the game itself? I hate 'em, too, but c'mon, why are the boards so vital? Why is the game not so vital?
