For me, it's probably . The way he calls his wife's name with his dying breath is the perfect amount of grim and touching.

has always seemed sad to me, the way she just goes Poof and then her hat floats down, it makes me feel like she's vanished forever.

is really sad to, it actually reminds me of Yoda's or Obi Wan Kenobi's deaths, because he just dissapears from inside his garments, and those are two of the saddest deaths in Movies in my opinion.

could almost be really sad, how he gets impaled by his own sword and all, but I have to say he's so annoying to play against that I just get really satisfied when I see it.

is actually really sad if you watch the whole thing (it's surprisingly long) but after he dies an falls over, his sapling runs all over him like it's trying to save him or see if he's alive, and then jumps to the ground and falls over dead as well. it's pretty heart wrenching once you realize what it's doing.

He flys up and smashes the ground most likely breaking all of his bones upon impact, and that is what kills him to me. I do love the "WEEEEEEE" sound he does, though.

Definitely takes the cake here.. that scream sounds like she is in complete agony not to mention she crumbles into pieces... poor Cass...

I'd have to say has the saddest death animation. She can't even cry out or scream; she just...floats silently to her death.

gets a special mention for the sheer brutality of hers. That bloodcurdling scream she lets out as her own weapon murders her is pretty neato.

Ok, now seriously i vote for , yeah, it's not the most saddest in general, but i feel bad for her when se tries to shot her enemy until no forces exist no more and colapses to the ground.

Check out Irelia's death animation. It's pretty brutal.

Two that haven't been mentioned yet, for your consideration...

and human-form are both pretty sad, simply because they take so long to die. Neither wants to go down or stay down, with Jarvan struggling to stand back up and Shyvana dropping her gauntlets and trying to crawl away. It's not as brutal as others (Irelia, Corki) but it hammers home the fact that both of them are trying to defy death and carry on, but they just don't have anything left.

There's one death she has where she gasps and then makes this grunting sound like she's trying to keep going but can't and so she lets out her last breath. :(

That death scream when you finally put him down just makes me feel for him. He has so much unfinished business when he dies... like punching more people in the face. But he just runs out... he slumps over and then lets out one final yell of frustration before he just lies back and dies.

so whimsical, so innocent... and then just one surprised scream and all that's left is her hat. That scream makes me feel that she has no idea that she can die until hit happens.

while is probably one of the top 3# Id say a lot of people are forgetting where its a very similar reaction. also deserves a very high spot. While the animation itself isnt anything spectacular, his final death cries of his wife definitely ranks him as my other top 3

Cassiopea's pretty bad, so is Wukong. I also kinda feel bad for Xerath, since he just, well, explodes - at least Kog'Maw can do something productive with his explosive death.

I will not say that 's is sad, however it is just. He spent his time in prison absorbing power which turned him into pure energy. What other end is there besides exploding because of the power inside you?

Basically I respect because he tried to gain as much power as he could to the point where he died from not being able to control it. Its like owning a pet tiger that eats you alive. There is no better death than that.
