Why do people still chase Singed?

Last night I played top, rushed and for a bit of early tanking power ( are both very gold efficient and provide a HUGE amount of Mana for Singed's passive and Seraph's Embrace to scale off of--don't be pressured into choosing one or the other, just get both). Meanwhile, our mid and jungler fed their mid and he started causing problems for me up top. I bought (yes, really) so I could take down top's outer turret (and the only tower that we destroyed at that point) before teamfighting started, knowing that Morde would just split push and huehuehue all the way to the inhib if I left the lane without doing so. (Frost Queen's on Singed isn't a terrible idea I swear) I already made it clear that their top was going to lose against me in a 1v1. I had Rod of Ages at 10 stacks, Tear of the Goddess almost at 750 (due to the constant procs from his Q, rito pls), and way too much health to spare. Mordekaiser could still carry harder than I could, and they already had three of our towers down by the time I destroyed one of theirs. But then his teammates started chasing me, ignoring that all the damage they were taking from Poison Trail made it unsafe to engage, nevermind the fact that Singed with a 750 Tear/Seraph's and RoA tanks earlier and harder than most Tank champions with a Warmog's and a Giant's Belt (not that anyone would because they're all probably building Randuin's or Spirit Visage instead). Got a lot of assists and a lot of kills stolen from me, hope you're happy Fizz, upgraded to Seraph's Embrace and started building more AP, gg wp. 44.3k damage at the end, beating our ADC's damage by 3k.

Please stop chasing Singed, because that's how you throw matches. By the time you catch up with him, your health will have already dropped so far that he could just kill you with a fling. And if he can't kill you then, he'll pop his steroid and wait for you to drop. He's like Satan, but a lot less squishy.
