I really want to buy PROJECT Lucian as soon as possible, but don't really like the First Strike border that comes with buying the skins during their week of release. Is there a way to opt out of the border?

There won't be a way to obtain the skin without the border during the first week.
The first week the PROJECT skins come out ( 9/8 - 9/15 23:59 PDT ), they'll be priced at 1350 RP, or 1820 RP for PROJECT: Yi. After that, the skins will be unavailable in the store until 9/17. On 9/17, content will return to the store, and all 1350 RP skins will be on sale for 975 RP. This sale price will be applicable until 9/24.
The first week is going to be full price. Just wait out the first week and you'll get it on discount (without the border) during the second. Be patient.

I just have a question, but why would you not want to have the special border that comes with buying it first? IMO it makes me feel like I'm owning a special skin or something lol
