Are the pre-season placements really bad?

Maybe it is just me, but I got placed extremely low. I'm not sure if it was supposed to or not. I know it was supposed to make u lower but I mean, I took a huge hit.

I was Silver 2 at the end of last season (I know it's pretty bad). I'm a support main. I won 5 lost 5 in the pre-season. It placed me in Bronze 4.

I know I lost half, but I mean common. I'm not that bad.

What were you last season? What were you placed as in pre-season? How do you feel about it?

Yeah its not the best I ended the season at silver 4 and i won 6 out if the 10 and i got bronze 3

hey atleast thats a better ratio than mine XD. I just hope it doesnt affect next seasons placements that much.

the preseason dosen't change that much, its still mostly bases off your current mmr and how well you do in placements when the real season arrives next month.
