Isn't TB meant to be a place where you can play a champ in the role you want to play them? On the other hand, when building a team, shouldn't you experiment by placing different roles in different lanes and possible create a new meta or countermeta?

It's not just about 'breaking the meta'
I play team builder with other people who follow the meta. That way I can collect my easy win vs. teams that try to 
jungle or 
top and such.
well i think thats the point. most people just want to be able to use the champ they want within the confines of the meta without the bidding war that happens in blind pick. but i agree with you it should be a way to try out new and strange team compositions.
I really think TB should allow you to choose specifically the champ you want in certain roles if you want to get more specific. you'll be waiting a long ass time but still, it could be done.
for ranked practice without people refusing to support/jungle and just intentionally feeding.
the competition is actually much stronger in team builder then in blind pick. im not sure about how it compares to draft pick, i dont play normal draft so i cant be sure
I got 4 reports for picking Taric jungle in TB and being the only one not feeding his socks off.
Since picking against the meta is reportable and counts towards a punishment in the future, I'm just going to pick exclusively meta champions now.
At least I have my hipster badge in the form of Traditional Sejuani. Oink.
uh, playing against meta may be reportable (anyone can report anything), but it's not punishable.
