I feel cheated, The Mastery ranking system is awful.

Recently played a match, and it went pretty well, each of us dominated our lanes and we had good roaming going on. At the end of the match, our top, Illaoi, gets 9/2/7 204 CS and 14K gold at the end. While I myself, Brand, went 17/1/8 115 CS and 14K Gold. However, Illaoi gets and S+ While I, On the other hand get an A+. This is where i realized how awful the mastery ranking system is, I did not have 200+ CS, So I did not get an S. And this isn't a matter of gold, as I had earned the same amount of gold Illaoi has. This is not fair to Mages or Champions without wave clear. I feel cheated, for all my hard work, just because I died ONCE, I did not get what I deserved, while the others who did less then I have, are given more than I. I am close to quitting the League of Legends just because of this. I urge you, Riot Games, or whoever may be in charge of League of Legends currently, to fix this system, As it brings sadness to those who did not get what they deserve.

You're graded on how well you played a champion compared to other players of the same champion around your MMR. You got an A+ because you did fairly well compared to other Brand players, but not as well as the best of them.

your cs, and probably warding was garbage, deal with it.

you don't even need waveclear (even though brand has it), you have to push out the side lanes, regardless of how long it takes

the system compares different stats with other people that played the same champ.

An average brand player gets way more than 115 cs.

So, even if you had a very good KdA, the system grades you worse because of your CS. You could have also went 1000/0/1000, the system still gives you no S when you don't have a good score on all stats, including CS.

As Zed in normals, i often have scores like 23/3/8, but as i don't care all too much about farm in normals, i end up with sth like 100cs and get sth like A+ despite a very good KdA
