Ping Lag In The Last Couple Days

Am i the only one who's been getting a TON of ping lag lately. It spikes for around half of the game to numbers as high as 16,000 and then it goes to the 500 ping and freezes a few times also. I've had to DC and reconnect 3 times in my past 4 games. Almost cost me 2 wins. I haven't gotten a different computer or changed my wifi recently so i don't think it's any of that. I'm just curious if anyone else has had these experiences the past couple days because this is really frustrating and i hope it's something Riot can quickly fix.
