User Settings-Champions-Add Choose favorites

My idea is that in the user profile, or in Shop, players can select "favorite" or "liked" Champions. The reason for this is the free champion rotation. In many cases I have found a Champion I had liked but at the time did not have enough RP or IP to purchase them. Sensibly one could just make a note of all the Champions they like for later. But wouldn't it be fantastic to have that built into the game?

In addition to the idea I want to see if it would be possible to have the favorite Champion system notify you when a Champion you have Favorited but not purchased yet, are on sale. Now I know this may look like a cheap way for one to just wait out a sale and never purchase a Champion at full price ever again, but considering Champions seem to only go on sale once a year, it does help new players stay attached to the game instead of quitting because of having to wait for better weekly Champions.

For example, when I started playing again, Jinx was in the rotation. Being such a fun Champion to play as made me want to play more as her but I was nowhere near enough RP or IP to purchase her when she went out of rotation. So I decided to check when she was last on sale and found her to be a month before I started playing again and a year before that. So now I am potentially waiting a year for her to be on sale again along with a few other Champions.

As someone who is working very frequently and does not get many hours to play or check the sales, I might miss out when I am too busy to play. There could be e-mail notifications as well on Favorite Champions sales or additional skins becoming available. Regardless of how one may look at this idea, it could potentially raise advertising, in a very focused way (such as being able to op out of e-mail notifications all together, just Champion sales, or no skins notifications), which could be beneficial for Riot in getting the additional Champion skins and features out there and boosting sales in general, and of course possibly hindering sales at full price.

There could be some restrictions regarding who could do this, such as a level requirement. Although that could potentially make me unable to use the system (being lv 12), it would be an additional earned feature like Runes or Masteries slots. For example when you level up you gain more Runes or Masteries slots, so you would get an increased number of Champions you can favorite for notifications. Of course for people who are already level 30 this would not mean much, but keeping the player base growing, this could be a big help. Additionally it could help with team builders if you consider the possibility of it grouping people with say someone who has a lot of Marksman characters favorited, which would make it easier to accurately set up teams with people that know how to do certain things best.

What do you all think? I feel like there are so many more good possibilities with such a system than negative ones.
